Once home to North Hills Mall, the 52 acres surrounding North Richland Hills City Hall were purchased by Centurion American Development Group. Called City Point, the new master planned mixed-use development will include various types residential options, including both single family detached and attached options alongside multi-family that will surround a commercial district along City Point Drive with an upscale hotel on the corner of Boulevard 26 and Rodger Line Drive. May 2023City Point Commercial Groundbreaking

City officials recently joined Centurion American Development Group to break ground for the first phase of the City Point commercial district, which will bring new businesses to the community. Plans include 60,000 square feet of commercial space as a centerpiece of the development between City Hall and Boulevard 26 along City Point Drive. December 2022

City Point December 2022Significant vertical construction has occurred in City Point over the past few months and all phases of the development are in-progress. Individual single-family homes are close to being delivered and will continue to be constructed and available over course of 2023 and 2024. Approximately 33% of the single family lots have either been permitted or are in plan review from homebuilders Mattamy Homes, Ashton Woods and CB Jeni. Model homes from all three builders are nearing completion with sales staff available on-site. The Delegate at City Point, a 4-story multi-family project, began construction at the beginning of 2022 and is expected to be available for lease in early 2024. The commercial area is the centerpiece of City Point and is divided into two separate 30,000 square foot phases along City Point Drive. Master Developer Centurion American and NRH City Staff are in the final stages of review with the first phase set to start construction in 2023.

Development is well underway on City Point as construction has begun on model homes and the new multifamily development, The Delegate at City Point. Mattamy Homes, CB Jeni and Ashton Woods have submitted home plans which include architecture styles, materials and colors intended to diversify the streetscape. For single family, a mix of 2-story homes, 3-story homes and different rooflines are planned, ranging from 1,633 to 2,600 s.f., with $450,000+ asking prices. Two-story townhomes will be 1,500 to 2,100 s.f. with prices $400,000+. In addition to the residential construction progress, perimeter masonry walls, entry signage and open space amenities, specifically a pavilion, are also under construction.

November 2021

Progress continues on the award winning City Point Development. City PointStreets north of City Point Drive have been paved and street lights will be installed soon. The next phase of construction will include paving of streets south of City Point drive, in addition to landscape and hardscape improvements. Construction of model homes and multifamily is scheduled to begin during the second quarter of 2022. Homebuilders include Ashton Woods, CB Jeni and Mattamy Homes; both Ashton Woods and Mattamy Homes have websites available for the City Point community, showcasing interactive floorplans. 26 at City Point Begins Pre-Leasing

26 at City Point is a multi-family community located in front of City Hall and adjacent to the property owned by Centurion American. Site Preparation Begins

Centurion American installed fencing and barricades to begin removing 25 acres of asphalt that remained from the mall parking lot. On April 15 the ring road bound by City Point Drive, Boulevard 26 and Rodger Line Drive was also temporarily closed, with City Point Drive providing access to both City Hall and the Calloway Creek Medical Office Building from both Boulevard 26 to Glenview Drive.
