Having grown-up in the early 1900’s, North Richland Hill’s Smithfield community is the City’s oldest and most historic area. It lies just north of Loop 820 between Davis Boulevard and Smithfield Road, with Smithfield Elementary on the north and
Mid-Cities Boulevard on the south. A conservation plan has been completed to serve as a guide to future development in the Smithfield area.
