Entertainment & Cultural Arts
NRH2O Family Water Park
The 60-acre park offers a 16,000 square foot wave pool, water slides, a two-person tube slide and an extensive water playground. NRH2O features the Green Extreme, the World's tallest and longest uphill water roller coaster.
Iron Horse Golf Course
Iron Horse has been consistently voted among the best municipal golf courses in Texas. This challenging 18-hole Dick Phelps designed course surrounds golfers in a tranquil environment as the course meanders over scenic creeks and traverses under a railroad trestle.
NRH Athletics
The Athletic Division offers year round adult leagues, tournaments, special events, and youth volleyball leagues, which promote and active, enriched lifestyle for residents and surrounding communities. In addition a variety of youth sports camps are offered during the summer months to provide positive and healthy experiences for area youth.
NYTEX Sports Centre/Texas Brahmas
NYTEX Sports Centre features two indoor ice rinks. In addition to serving as the home for the Texas Brahmas, the center offers adult and youth hockey leagues and camps, figure skating and recreational skating. The facility also features The Hockey Shop, which sells Brahmas merchandise and a wide variety of hockey equipment and apparel, and ZuRoma, a Sicilian food restaurant. The City of North Richland Hills is proud to be the home of the Texas Brahmas hockey team!
Park & Trail Systems

Art in Public Spaces
The City of North Richland Hills established an Art in Public Spaces Program in 2002. By integrating art into daily life, the program beautifies public areas, improves our quality of life and creates a distinctive identity for our community.
Library
The Library currently has more than 58,000 registered borrowers who use over 700,000 items each year. The Library strives to make each visit a rewarding experience for you and your family. The North Richland Hills Public Library opened its new location at 9015 Grand Avenue on April 19, 2008. The library offers a wide variety of books, videos, CDs, and other information resources and services.
Senior Center
The Bursey Road Senior Center and the Dan Echols Senior Center offer a wide variety of activities and classes to all North Richland Hills senior citizens, including craft and exercise classes, card games, and dinner parties.
Health Care
North Hills Hospital
North Hills Hospital strives to serve the community with the most state of the art services and treatments to date. The hospital recently underwent a $31.7 million renovation, which includes an award wining Heart Center, a Bariatric Center, and a new Women's Center.
They are proud to be the first hospital in the United States to receive the Cycle 2 Accreditation for our Chest Pain Center, along with being awarded by the American Society for Bariatric Surgery.
The Hospital's mission is to serve, to care for, and to assist in the healing of our Patients and their Families.
